Somehow, in our society, we value the youthful appearance of scalp hair more than the wisdom that accompanies baldness. This has led to the development of medications to prevent baldness, hair addition techniques, and a variety of wigs. These methods of treating baldness also become a part of the cosmetic arena surrounding hair.
